Barbecued Tandoori Chicken

Serves: 4
Preparation time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
½ tspn curry powder
½ tspn dried chilli flakes
½ tspn salt
¼ tspn ground ginger
¼ tspn paprika
¼ tspn ground cinnamon
¼ tspn ground turmeric
2 tblspns water
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast fillets
Oil for brushing on grill hot plate         

Method
1.Preheat barbecue to high.
2.To make marinade: In a bowl stir curry powder, chilli, salt, ginger, paprika, cinnamon and turmeric with water to form a smooth paste.
3.Coat chicken breasts with marinade, and place them on a plate. Cover, place in fridge and leave for 20 minutes.
4.Brush barbecue hotplates with oil. Place chicken on the hotplate, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, until juices run clear when pierced with a skewer.
