Devilled Chicken Drumsticks

Serves: 4
Preparation time: 65 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
6 tspns soy sauce
ΒΌ cup tomato sauce
2 tblspns dark brown sugar
2 tblspns honey
1 tblspn Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, crushed
salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 large chicken drumsticks (about 150 grams each)
oil for greasing

Method
1.In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, tomato sauce, brown sugar, honey, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper.
2.Place chicken in casserole dish, pour the marinade over the drumsticks and turn them with your hands to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
3.Preheat the oven to 200C. Brush chicken with any remaining marinade and cover the chicken loosely with foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
4.Remove the foil and baste the chicken with the juices. Return to the oven, uncovered for a further 15 minutes, or until sizzling and cooked right through.
