Let’s take a cue from older people in our country. Back in Feb 2009, Australian ATMs started charging us a fee to take out our money. This fee can be right up to $5.00 per transaction. However as reported in The Sydney Morning Herald, the eldest in our community are beating the banks at their own game.
Research has shown older people in Australia are finding other fee free ways of getting their money. People over 60 are paying this fee only about 10 percent of the time. People over 60 years old are finding the local ATMs for their bank, rather than giving in to paying the transaction fee.
