Macaroni and Cheese

Serves: 2
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients
60g butter
60g plain flour
100ml milk
¼ cup grated cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup macaroni
Extra grated cheese for sprinkling on top

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
2. In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine butter and flour, cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring well.
3. Gradually add the milk, then add grated cheese, stir well and simmer for 1-2 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
4. Cook the macaroni in a separate saucepan as per instructions on back of the packet.
5. Place the cooked macaroni and the white sauce in an ovenproof dish, stir and top with grated cheese and bake for 10 minutes or until melted and golden brown.
