For all telecommunications companies’ great achievements, they still lack technical ability in one area. They can’t invent a billing system which will charge you for the time you use, instead of charging in 30 second or 1 minute blocks.
Think about it, here is a company which can send a signal to a wireless phone in the middle of nowhere. But this one aspect they can’t quite handle. Is it because they make more money charging by 30 second or 1 minute blocks?
Well this article in The Herald Sun suggests it is. And if you can tell by my sarcastic writing; I think it is as well.
