Visa 'Disappointed' With Woolworths

No, this is not an April fool’s joke. However, you must have done something really wrong to get a credit card company calling another company greedy. Talk about ‘the pot calling the kettle black’. But Visa is extremely disappointed with Woolworths. Woolworths have removed the credit option for us using debit cards. This means we will be slugged a fee for hitting the savings or cheque button on EFTPOS.

In some cases, this fee will be right up to $2.50 for each transaction. While Woolworths says it will only affect 1% of their customers, it will still make it harder for those people trying to stay away from credit cards. The Sydney Morning Herald has written a great article about the fallout.
